About me
Jerard Lafuente has been in education for over twenty years. He started out teaching middle school RLA and Theater Arts. He has been an assistant principal of a 5-A High School in Lubbock, Texas. Most recently he has worked for Region 17 ESC for the past fifteen years. His specialties have included student behavior, Reading Language Arts 3rd Grade-12th Grade, Librarian Support, First Year Teachers, and TCMPC. Jerard has presented at multiple state conferences and a countless number of regional conferences and district professional learning sessions. His hands-on presentation style and interactive approach allow him to share his passion for reading, writing, and learning for all with his participants.
