About me
Howdy! I am the 7th and 8th grade Reading Language Arts teacher at Midland Academy Charter School. I am from Del Rio, Texas, and have enjoyed living in Midland. My husband and I are proud Aggie parents, and we have two children. I have taught at Midland Academy since it opened in 1999. I have taught for 27 years and feel so blessed to be part of the MACS family. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sul Ross State University with a major in English and a minor in Reading. I am certified to teach English Language Arts, Reading, ESL and GT all in grades 6- 12. I have taught 5th grade, middle school and high school English. I love teaching reading and am even more passionate about teaching writing and grammar.
