Dr. Edna Garcia is a passionate and experienced educational leader who has served as a teacher, principal, and executive director in both small and urban school districts across Texas. She has a strong background in supporting special populations, including bilingual and at-risk students, and is known for her commitment to equity and student achievement. Dr. Garcia is an instructor at Texas Tech University, where she teaches graduate-level courses on data-informed instruction and building collaborative instructional teams. She also mentors aspiring principals as a field supervisor, guiding them through their leadership journey.In addition, Dr. Garcia serves as an educational consultant with Curriculum Associates, having successfully transformed her own campus through the effective implementation of iReady. Her greatest professional joy comes from partnering with school leaders to develop systems that drive impactful, student-centered results.
