Dr. Jon Olson is the Cockrell Family Chair in Engineering #17 in The University of Texas at Austin's Hildebrand Department of Petroleum & Geosystems Engineering, where he teaches courses on energy, engineering and the environment. He participates in the department's summer energy institute for teachers, and UT's high school curriculum at EnergyExcursions.com. PhD, Geology; BS, Earth Sciences; BS, Civil Engineering.
