About me
The Illusions in Your Classroom - This dynamic interactive workshop explores the psychology of education through the outside lens of a children's entertainer and author! Bronson Chadwick is the director of the Magic in the Library Initiative based out of west Texas. He works in tandem with the Texas Commission on the Arts to produce unique, ultra-visual language arts lessons for K-5 students. In his fifteen years as a children's entertainer (and now as a a language arts educator), Bronson has an unusual and effective range of techniques for reaching the "dreamers" in the back of the classroom. While Bronson's primary focus is language arts, other academic disciplines can also gain immensely through the topics Bronson will cover. Topics include these and more:· Using other senses to make a lesson more memorable, such as audio cues and tactile approaches· Redirection vs. Misdirection· Psychological cues with hand gestures and intonation
