About me
Shannon has spent the last 11 years in education, with the past 5 years in administration. She currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Fort Stockton Intermediate School, where she is dedicated to supporting both students and educators in achieving their fullest potential.
Shannon has been married to her husband for 19 years, and together they have three beautiful daughters, all of whom attend school in Fort Stockton. Family is at the heart of everything Shannon does, and she values the time spent with her loved ones.
In addition to her work in education, Shannon is in the process of writing her doctoral dissertation, which focuses on the underrepresentation of Hispanics in the Gifted and Talented program in Texas. This important research reflects her commitment to ensuring all students have equal opportunities to succeed.
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys reading, spending quality time with her family, and baking delicious treats to share with friends and loved ones. She is a firm believer in the power of community and strives to foster it in both her professional and personal life.
