About me
Stephanie Shield, M.Ed., is a National STEM Instructional Specialist and Instructional Coach with Accelerate Learning, Inc. in the Southwest region of the United States. She holds a BA in Liberal Studies from California State University, Long Beach and a M.Ed., in Cross-Cultural Education and teaching credentials from National University. She is a previous classroom teacher with experience in K-5 instruction as well as Special Education. She has spent many years working with severely handicapped students in both self contained and mainstreamed classrooms. Stephanie has presented at previous conferences on topics such as CER and Science Integration Strategies and is an active member of many PLC’s in her immediate area. She has been an integral part of her community volunteering for many charitable organizations and served as a high school track coach for 6 years.
